ICI provides supervision for interns, LPC, LMFT and pastoral counselors. Interns and pastoral counselors are supervised in both group and individual supervision. Dr. David Manock also provides a 30-hour clinical supervision training as recognized by the Oregon Board for Licensed Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT). The 30-hour training is broken down into Part I,II, and III, each consisting of a 10-hour one day seminar. In order to become an OBLPCT registered supervisor, a LPC and or LMFT must have completed the 30-training, passed a supervisor exam and been supervised for 12 sessions by an OBLPCT approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Manock is a qualified and registered clinical supervisor with OBLPCT.
Interns meet with their supervisor for a 2-hour per month group supervision along with 1-hour of individual supervision. This format is the same for pastoral counselors. Dr. Manock has posted his supervision philosophy on this page.
