David has a private MFT and psychotherapy practice, and has constructed a new theory combining Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Intersubjectivity Psychoanalysis (IS). EFT is the most researched form of couples therapy with an attachment, neuropsychology, and gestalt base. IS is the current, state-of-the-art, fifth generation psychoanalysis focusing on two-person psychology. David regularly shares his research and insights at conferences, and recently conducted an eight-hour seminar for counselors and therapists, at which he presented his hybrid EFT & IS theory. |

She has been in practice since 2004 in Beaverton, Oregon, serving individuals, couples and families with a strengths-based approach. She has also been a teacher, adjunct professor, and is a Certified Gottman Therapist. Her work as a therapist and speaker are informed greatly by her personal life as a mother of three boys and her marriage of over 30 years to Eric Walters. She and Eric have founded Core Values Counseling, lead marriage conferences helping couples find vision for their lives and relationship since 2004. The Core Values IndexTM is a cornerstone in their work with coaches, counselors, couples and individuals; helping each person understand their deepest, unchanging core-self. If there were a phrase to describe Sabrina’s work, it would be “Hope Monger.” She often tells clients she will hunt down hope in every situation.
